Here is a close up of the boarder. I used orange thread on dark brown and just love how this looks! A little daring, but not too much!
Picture
Here is a close up of the scrapy area. This quilt was very easy to assemble, but I'll tell you.....Going through all my scraps, cutting them into 1" width strips of different lengths became very tedious....,
Picture
Close up of the bird panel. If you can't tell by now, I love birds! Actually I really like all animals, but really like bird fabric!
Picture
Close up of the center. Original I wanted to put the orange flowers through the middle too, but was affraid that I would not have enough thread to finish the job. So, I did half circle/circle pattern which came out pretty cool!
Picture
Some close up shots of the back! This is a good one of the flower border!
That's it for now! Tell me what think and if there is anything you have questions about!
Picture
This is a close up of the bird panel. I outlined the print and then put in hook swirls with some pebbling.
Picture
The center going up!
Picture
And the scrapy area! I put leaves through out and outlined the patterned fabric.

I took 3rd place! Woo Hoo! I had intended on entering two, but for some reason they wouldn't let me enter the second one. I'm still scratching my head as to why????????
Picture
Of course I have to have pictures of the animals! The little piglets are so Cute! This little guy is trying to wake Momma.
Picture
So now she moves! You should have heard them all squeal! The one climbing is desperately fighting for a spot!
Picture
A little closer shot. They were so noisy and so cute!

Pretty Handsome!

So here is Marvin's Duck quilt! He stated that he has a "Man Cave" and need to make it complete by adding a Duck quilt and asked me to make him one! I hope you like it Marvin!!!
Picture
Here is a close up of the boarders!
Picture
I did two different quilting styles of the big blocks. This is the first!
Picture
This is the second block! Something that I was experimenting with and I really like it! All together breaks it up a bit and I think looks really cool! What do you think?
Picture
Of course I have to show the back side too! I love using solids for the back side so you can enjoy all of the quilting! I used four thread colors on this quilt; black, grey, green and yellow! On the black backing the stitches look really cool!
Picture
Just a few close ups of the back side. I don't want to bore you so I'm going to post 2.

Picture
And guess what???? I had enough fabric left plus a little from my stash to make a through pillow!
